Crypto securities are electronic securities that are registered in a crypto securities registry.
Crypto securities registries must be maintained on a decentralised, tamper-resistant system of record in which data are recorded in chronological order and stored in a manner that is protected against unauthorised deletion and access.
Electronic securities are issued by registration in an electronic securities registry instead of issuing a securities certificate.
The holder of crypto securities is the person in whose name the crypto securities or a certain part of an issuance are registered in the crypto securities registry.
The beneficiary is the person who owns the right under the securities.
